The Journal Psychology And Pathopsychology Of Child is focused on the issue of problems of child and youth mental development, and on mapping out of factors that condition this development – that is, mostly school but also home and other social environment. The attention is focused on standardly ongoing development, but also on development of children with disabilities, on gifted children, or on socially disadvantaged children. The Journal publishes survey, theoretical and mostly research studies, case studies, reports on professional happenings, but also reviews of professional literature. Many studies pertain to the psychological issue of problems related to school and education, and also possibilities to optimize mental development of children and youth by psychological methods. Several contributions focus on the methodological issue of problems (especially introduction of new diagnostic methodologies). From time to time, works from other areas of psychology are published, too.

Psychology And Pathopsychology Of Child is the only scientific psychological journal that is published here in the Slovak language (contributions of colleagues from the Czech Republic are published in Czech).

All studies are reviewed and are accompanied with an abstract in English.

The Journal is published quarterly; individual issues have 100 pages.

The price per issue in direct sale is 2,50 €, the yearly subscription is 9 €.
